Fees
Full price per term (2011/12):
| Lower Prep. | £1,770 |
|---|---|
| Upper Prep. | £2,060 |
| Years 2 & 3 | £2,200 |
| Years 4, 5 & 6 | £2,310 |
| Year 7 | £2,425 |
Lower and Upper Preparatory fees are less because Lower Preparatory students go home at lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Upper Preparatory students go home at lunch on Wednesday.
Fees for Year 4 - Year 6 are greater because the school day is longer. Fees for Year 7+ are greater because of the need to deliver increased amounts of specialist teaching at the secondary level.
There is a 10% sibling discount, which increases by 5% for each additional sibling.
Fees may be paid monthly over 10 months by standing order or termly in advance.
Admissions
We hold open mornings regularly. Please see the Open Day link (to the right) to find out when the next one will take place. Parents are also warmly invited to call us at any time to arrange a tour and a meeting with the headteacher.
Once parents have had a tour during school hours and an initial meeting with the headteacher, we then book in a time for the prospective student to come for a 'taster day' for older children or a shorter assessment for younger ones. The purpose of these visits is for the prospective student to get a feel for what it is like being here and for us to assess the child's core skills, particularly reading, spelling, writing and maths.
We do not aspire to be academically selective, but children who are offered a place at Heritage must be able to access mainstream classroom teaching effectively. Where this is possible, we can offer a very rich learning experience. We do not have the resources to deliver a highly differentiated or individually tailored curriculum, and we cannot offer more than a small amount (1-2 hrs per week) of one-to-one or small group work.
Following the 'taster day', the headteacher will speak with parents about whether a place can be offered. In order to secure a place parents will need to return a signed Enrolment Form together with a non-refundable £300 cheque, which will be deducted from the first term’s fees.
